Full
Text
The complete electronic
text of an article is called the full text. Many databases, such
as Academic Search Premier, Education Journals, Criminal Justice Periodicals,
JSTOR, and InfoTrac OneFILE provide entire articles online. |
What
if there are pictures or graphs with the article that you want to see?
Many databases provide
the full content via a PDF copy of the article as printed
in the original publication. Some databases offer an HTML version
with the full content of the article plus any graphs, charts, pictures
and text. Databases such as Lexis-Nexis Academic provide text only;
to find pictures originally published with these articles, you may need
to get the print copy from the library or through Interlibrary Loan. |
